Title:Post-processing analysis of climate simulation data using Python and MPI [presentation]
Abstract: Advances in software parallelism and high-performance systems have resulted in an order of magnitude increase in the volume of output data produced by the Community Earth System Model (CESM). While the volume of data produced by CESM has increased, the parallelism within the post-processing workflow has not keep pace. We describe preliminary work to accelerate the post-processing using Python, MPI, and pyNGL.
