Lunch and Learn LIVE! Tai Chi (June 5)

Laura Pan, from ACOM will be offering a Tai Chi lesson Friday, June 5, Noon - 12:30.

Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese martial art and it is widely practiced contemporarily for its health benefit. It can be practiced by people of all ages and in various health and fitness conditions. Many people consider Tai Chi as a moving meditation because the practice integrates mind and body using deep breathing.  The practice is highly recommended by Harvard Medical School. In this mini class, Laura will briefly introduce the philosophical foundation of Tai Chi (with one slide) and teach a very short routine as a “Taste of Tai Chi”. Please attend the video meeting in a place you can move on spot, preferably with at least 2-3 feet around you. Dress comfortably, barefoot okay on carpet, flat shoes if on a hard floor. To join the video meeting, join this Google Calendar event.

If you can’t make it, don’t worry, it will be recorded for later playback and posted in Staff Notes Daily.

And if you're interested in teaching a class, please contact Beth Swanson.
