All-Staff Privacy Awareness Training

Did you know there are new Privacy laws in Colorado and the European Union that impact UCAR's handling of Personal Identifying Information (PII) and Personal Data (PD)? Do you know what information is considered PII and PD, and what your individual responsibilities are with regards to handling this information? During the month of September, the Office of General Counsel (in conjunction with the Cyber-Security Program Office) is offering all-staff Privacy Awareness Training where employees will learn about Privacy at UCAR, including an overview of the law, definitions, employee responsibilities, tools and resources, and much more.  Please join us for one of the three sessions listed below: 

  • Wednesday, September 11, 12 – 1pm, Mesa Lab Main Auditorium
  • Tuesday, September 17, 10 – 11am, Center Green, South Auditorium (webcast TBD)
  • Wednesday, September 18, 1 – 2pm, FL2 – Room 1001 (webcast TBD)
