Door Card Software Update on Weds. 12/6

Security & Site Services is implementing a software upgrade to the Security Access Control System of card readers and door locks that control access to all Colorado locations. To minimize disruption, implementation and validation will take place before official opening times on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

Wednesday morning, between 5:00-7:30 a.m., there will be brief intermittent outages affecting access to buildings.  Teams will be on the ground, assuring security and validating that doors are locking/unlocking properly.  We anticipate that most staff will not experience any disruption.

Main entrance doors are scheduled to unlock at their normal times for buildings with reception services:

Mesa Lab - 7:45 a.m.
FL2 - 8:00 a.m.
CG1 - 8:00 a.m.
RAF - 8:00 a.m.

In the unlikely event that you encounter a problem entering FL 0, 1, or 3, please use the main entrance at FL2 and then report the issue using the contact information provided below.

If your building cannot be accessed via reception services, please use the exterior security phone box to request assistance or call 303-497-1139.

If you discover an issue with a door or your access card, please send an email to lutzinge@ucar.edu with the following details:
