Employee Well-Being Services: New Policy and Procedures

UCAR has established a new policy and procedure for approving services for employee well-being. A UCAR Approved Service means a service related to employee well-being, and may include training and learning opportunities, fitness, wellness, fun and food.

Services that are prohibited include any services of a political, religious, labor union or lobbying nature, or any that interfere with a productive, safe and secure work environment. UCAR Approved Services are provided to employees only on a non-exclusive basis, are restricted to publicly accessible areas of UCAR Facilities, may occur only during regular business hours, and are approved at UCAR’s sole discretion.

A UCAR Approved Service may be provided by UCAR (a UCAR Sponsored Service) or requested by an employee (Employee Sponsored Service). Any third-party service must be sponsored by a UCAR employee and not interfere with UCAR’s regular business function.

For more information see Policy 6-17 UCAR Approved Services for Employee Well-being, Online Request Form, and Service Provider Release Agreement.
