Friendly reminder: UCAR’s Conflict of Interest (COI) policy

Annually, all employees complete a conflict of interest statement as an acknowledgment that they are aware and agree to abide by UCAR’s Conflict of Interest (COI) policy A conflict may occur when UCAR is involved in the selection and award to procure goods and services from an employee’s immediate family member, business affiliate(s), or other relationships such as a personal friend where there is the appearance of a conflict of interest.

Please make sure when selecting a supplier of goods or services in support of your lab/program activities that you do not knowingly select a supplier where there is an affiliation with a staff member.  If you have a question whether or not a supplier is eligible to conduct business with UCAR, please contact the Contract Administrator that supports your lab or program for assistance.

Questions regarding the procurement of goods and services may be directed to Alison Propes at (ext. 8877), Gina Taberski at (ext. 2132), or Procurements’ general email and helpline at (ext. 8866).
