All Staff and Visitors,
In order to reduce an increased administrative burden on Logistics staff the President’s Council has approved a change to personal shipments through UCAR Logistics. Beginning December 1, 2017 this means the following:

Outbound personal shipping and mailing

UCAR will no longer allow personal use of our corporate accounts and resources for outbound personal shipping and mailing.

Exception: personal mail or shipping with postage already affixed will still be collected by Logistics for mailing.

Inbound personal shipments

UCAR will no longer accept and/or deliver inbound personal package shipments received in Logistics (Center Green 3). If you have packages currently in transit to UCAR, Logistics will contact you for pickup. Extreme exceptions to this inbound personal shipping policy change will be considered with the approval of both the UCAR President and Director of Human Resources.

Staff and visitors can utilize FedEx and UPS store location ‘hold package’ options for personal shipments.
