NCAR/UCAR/UCP Mindfulness Meditation Practice Group

Please join CGD’s Todd Amodeo for the NCAR/UCAR/UCP Mindfulness Meditation Practice Group that meets Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m. via Zoom.

No experience is necessary. Shamatha / Mindfulness meditation instruction is offered, and then we practice together for 15 minutes.

Meditation practice can be a healthy way to work with some of the stresses we're all dealing with. Meditation cultivates stability and clarity of mind. It also helps us connect more clearly with our heart and feelings.

Please arrive by 8:20 a.m. if you wish to receive meditation instruction.

If you don't have a meditation cushion, it's fine to use a flat seated chair--preferably one that's high enough to allow your knees to be slightly below your waist.

It's really important that we're actively taking care of ourselves physically and emotionally. Sitting together in community (even over Zoom) is a wonderful way to start your day.
