U-Engage Pole To Pole Update - We've made it!

This was our second virtual trek from pole-to-pole and we have officially reached the North Pole after 21 weeks! It’s been so much fun virtually adventuring with all of you that I believe a third trip may be in order!

I am hoping to start our next trek in early December and would love to hear some of your suggestions. Where should we go next? Should we do a mini trek on Mars or visit seven wonders of the world? I am open to hearing all of your ideas! Please email me at kelleeanne@ucar.edu.

Between winter looming and the ongoing pandemic, not only is this a great way for us to work together towards a goal, but also a way to keep “moving”. All winter sports will count towards your distance. If you are like me and prefer to stay out of the cold, having a dance party at your desk for 10 minutes 3 times a day counts too! Be creative and track your distance. If you are looking for equipment to use at home, I recommend checking the NextDoor app. I found a great elliptical on there that I will be using. If you have a disability then assistive device miles definitely count!

Thank you again for your participation in our last two adventures and I look forward to hearing your ideas for the next one!
