UNEION 101 starting in February

In February, the next two cohorts of UCAR|NCAR Equity and inclusION (UNEION) training will begin. As of December 2018, more than 100 colleagues at UCAR and NCAR have completed this training experience. This is a unique learning opportunity to join a cohort of your colleagues in discussion, readings, and activities that will broaden your understanding of ways in which various identities can impact our experiences in society and the workplace. UNEION is a four-part training series with a new topic covered each meeting and there will about 3-4 hours of preparation work before each session.

This year, we are offering two concurrent cohorts, but you must be able to attend ALL FOUR sessions within one cohort. When signing up please select only sessions for COHORT 8 or COHORT 9. For dates and times for the cohorts, please visit the UNEION website

To sign up, log into Connect. From the home screen, select "View the EOD Training Calendar and Register for Courses" Search for "UNEION". Sign up for all 4 sessions (PRO141, PRO 145, PRO146, and PRO147).

If you have questions or need more information before signing up, please contact Kristen Luna Aponte, kaponte@ucar.edu, x1657.
