PUBLICATIONS
- My doctoral thesis is entitled “Algebraic and Topological Aspects of the Lattice of Topologies”. I authored five refereed articles related to the thesis subject matter. Though unrelated to atmospheric science or geophysics, my academic background is an asset in interacting with scientists and engineers.
- NCAR/CISL computer notes and hints: I have contributed many notes to our user documentation through the years.
GENERAL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Assisting colleagues resolve work-related issues, both technical and non-technical, is the most important aspect of my job. Specific highlights are:
- Introducing new computing resources, both software and hardware, to NCAR users.
- Assisted NCAR in joining the TeraGrid, now known as XSEDE.
- Maintain CISL-developed, classic software for mathematical libraries.
- Serve as ombuds in the UCAR Ombuds Office.
