Title:What are the options and measures that could significantly affect the North American carbon cycle?
Abstract: This chapter provides an overview of options that can reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) emissions and those that can enhance carbon sinks, and it attempts to compare them. Finally, it discusses policies to encourage implementation of source reduction and sink enhancement options. No emission reduction or sink enhancement target is proposed, and no policy or option is recommended.
